Convert PNG images to SVG with the Adobe Express free online PNG to SVG converter. Click on Silhouette Studio to open it and then click on the Library icon top right. Silhouette will then respond with an error message stating “The file type you are attempting to access is not supported.” This file type is incapable of being opened in this version of Silhouette. Quickly and easily upload your PNG images to convert them to vector. In the Library window you will see all of your downloaded files on the right. Upload an image and convert it to a cuttable image. On the top left the username of the Silhouette Studio account will appear. 1) Upload a file either by clicking Open in the toolbar on the top, or from File > Open. Locate the file on your computer and click open. 2) Use the Trace feature to create the lines Silhouette recognizes as cut lines. The button can be found in the toolbar to the right. Beneath this are the categories for the designs. The same thing would happen should you attempt to open an SVG file from within the basic edition of Studio. If you are 100% positive you have the Designer Edition and you still are getting this error when opening SVG files, double-check that your license is still activated. Open up Silhouette Studio, and in the upper left-hand corner, it will say “Silhouette Studio Designer Edition. ” Sometimes your Designer Edition will deactivate.
